Located just outside of Athens, GA on highway 78 you can find Nana & Papa Biscuit Barn, a uniquely Southern establishment. It's a modified trailer that serves solely through a drive-thru window. Grab a buttery biscuit on your way to work or park your car and enjoy it on a nearby picnic table.
It's safe to say we've never seen a drive-thru quite like this. Adorned with rope lights, this place is one-of-a-kind. Which is exactly why we love it. Next time you're around the area, skip the fast food drive thru and hit up Nana & Papa Biscuit Barn. It's local, unique, and delicious.
We can't talk about a local joint without giving you a synopsis on the food. The biscuit is perfectly satisfying with a buttery, slightly crunchy outside and a soft, fluffy inside. We chose the spicy chicken biscuit because who doesn't love a little heartburn at 8 am? In all seriousness, this is the best drive-thru biscuit we've had and the location makes it even more enjoyable.
